For what its worth. Carfax told me they do not do faxs on motorhomes so they refunded my money.

Odd, since they did one for my coach. But that was about 4 years ago.
I fail to see what difference it makes. If the vehicle has a VIN, they can research it.

i had one done oct 2011 on my 1997 motorhome (ford f53) before i handed the previous owner the check.

You can get a Carfax only on the Chassis using the VIN number such as Ford F53 VIN XXXXXXXX. You cannot get a Carfax on a Winnie or Monaco or Fleetwood hosue portion.

I have the same thing Ford F-53 chassis 1996. The fax wouldnt download after I paid my money. I complained to Carfax and they said no moho's and they would refund my money and they did. I used the VIN number and not the chassis. But if they say no moho's I guess thats about final at least for me. Wont be trying again. Might not get my money back nextime because of a screw-up

If you go to www.nadaguides.com there is a link where you can get vehicle history similar to Carfax.

My Carfax showed a bunch of reports from the extended warranty company. They reported everything they paid for, whether house or chassis. Obviously there wasn't anything on furniture, but it had generator and house electronics on it.
Must be a change of policy by Carfax. Maybe they had complaints that the reports were incomplete? But heck, that's pretty much normal. Not every repair shop or insurer reports the work that is done, so you never know if the Carfax has all the actual repairs.

Yep, a Carfax gives you info on the CHASSIS only....nothing to do with the house portion.

Carfax...what a joke.....they have no way to tell anyone everything about any vehicle.
If I work on my vehicles myself, repair all the accidents myself....what are they going to report to a future buyer????
its a cash cow for them just as freecreditreport.com
