Carpret replacement

I've been interested in changing the carpret in mt 2005 Holiday Rampler,Septor. The unit is 38' with four slideouts. We have tile abuting the carpret in the bathroom and kitchen that will stay. I expect to use a professional installer, I guess at an RV repair or an RV mobile unit. Has anyone pulled and replaced the carpret themselves and how difficult was it. If you had it done professionally about how much did it cost you. Did you use an RV place? Thanks in advance. Jeff

I have a 2003 scepter and changed out the carpet to engineered wipe myself. The carpet and pad are pretty easy to remove but the thousands of staples that need to be removed was quite labor intensive. It was just osb under the carpet pad on my unit.

I can't help you on the cost from an outside service. I would say pucker up lol.

Dito on the staples. I spent two hours just pulling staples
I am currently doing our whole Coach
I spent 15 hours removing everything but the kitchen sink area including the bed. Water tank under the bed, dinette, couch, entertainment center in the corner of B.R. toilet .seats .... the list goes on.

I bought carpet and vinyl today.
We are using carpet in drivers /passenger Area then the vinyl floor all The way back to bedroom where the carpet will be again.

31 foot coach.spent less than 500
For both carpet & vinyl . my brother will install in a couple weeks.
I would have to agree with the other post. Labor to dhave the job done will be very high. Its a lot of work. Not hard work but very time consuming.
