Carrier AC-Help!

We have 2 Carrier Ac on our coach. We are having issues with one. We are not sure if it's the Motor Fan but does anyone make a replacement(aftermarket) for this since Carrier is out of business for rv acs? Have also read there is a fuse inside the ac, true?

The OEM motor can be purchased for about five hundred as I recall

Some folks and I can point you to one can get you a 3rd party, takes a bit of adapting (not very much, you change the cradle a bit is all, same screw holes in the frame) for about half that.

I happen to have a spare I'm still deciding on.

IF you need to replace the entire unit.. I just replaced one of mine, ADVENT AIR makes a upper unit that with their adapter cable will fit on the carrier and almost work just like the carrier.. (By almost I mean the 15,000 btu draws the same power as the 13.5 BTU carrier. in short it works better) Operationally.. IDENTICAL.

You should be able to figure out how I know.. Installed it.. YESTERDAY, a scant 25 hours ago.

Take the motor to W.W. Grainer and you can probably get a replacement.
