A CAT dealer can increase you HP to 300 by changing the turbo and a couple other things depending on your model. You have to give them your engine ID number for the exact requirements. The modifications depend on when your specific engine was made. Not all 3126 are equal. Some 3126 can go as high as 330HP. 75K miles on a 95 is nothing! This CAT typically is not broke in until around 30K miles. The cost is not cheap to up the HP. On the positive side....your 250 will get excellent mileage if you drive with a light foot and around 55-60mph. I consistantly get over 10 and my unit is a 36ft.

and adds about 100 foot pounds
that sounds just right any more would raise egt's
and edge is alot cheaper then cat
Make sure your transmission can handle the extra power - it will have a max horsepower and torque rating which may be close to what your engine currently puts out.
