I have been using CB radios over 40 years and if every RVer with one would turn on CH13 we could get more info about campgrounds and road conditions. On another RV forum I said the same thing but nothing, if you have the CB turn it on.

I still have a CB installed, use it to supplement Road & Traffic info. Also carry 3 smart cell phones, 2 walkie talkies & a Satphone. Each has its own strength & weakness. CBs are cheap alternative communication options.
