Ceiling Light Issue

The ceiling light in the bedroom (Thinlight) had both bulbs out so I replaced with new ones. Now the light comes on and after about two minutes, it goes out. Is this a sign of a ballast problem or do i have a problem with the new bulbs?

Yeah, sounds like a bad ballast. I had three fixtures with that problem, installed LED strips in the fixtures and all is good.

The lights in our bedroom would only come on so low we could barely see. Sometimes they would come up to full power, but most of the time not. I ordered two new ballasts off the internet for $20 each, plus shipping. Took down the lights and installed the new ballasts (not that easy of course, they weren't exactly the same, had to redo), but anyway, the lights are like new now and work fine.
