Changes I've made inside my RV

In our 2001 Scepter, over the years, I've done the following:

I replaced the carpet and ceramic floor with new ceramic in the entrance, Engineered wood floor in the kitchen, Heated ceramic tile in the bathroom, and floating floor in the bedroom.

I replaced the kitchen table with the new legless-style, sliding table which I built myself including the cabinet that attaches to the wall.

I replaced the cloth covering on the sofa and recliner with leather.

I replaced the original cloth covering on the kitchen chairs with a new design.

I replaced all window valences with new ones that I made in solid cherry.

I replaced all the polished brass hardware and light fixtures with the new ORB color (dark brown).

I've added a new medicine cabinet beside the existing one.

I've removed the front TV cabinet and replaced it with a slimmer one that now holds a 32" LED TV.

My next projects are:

Adding sliding trays in the bottom compartments.

Replacing the light bulbs and fluorescents with the new LED ones.

As you can see, I like working on my motorhome. My Scepter doesn't look like a 2001 RV anymore.

Pictures will be coming. I promise!
I'm busy right now on other projects, but when they're over I will document what I did

Pulled the jack knife couch out and replaced it with two Euro recliners. Replaced the old HDTV's with new 1080p HDTV's, 32" fit right in in the front and cut the existing trim to fit. In the rear I put a 24" in place of the little TV Had to cut the cabinet for the TV to fit and put its own Blu Ray player under it. Replaced the DVD/VHS receiver up front with a new receiver and a separate Blu Ray player. Put a couple of Vinal fence post covers in the LP bay to hold my sewer hoses. They work great and makes use of dead space. Put shelves in the washer/dryer cabinet so my wife would have a place to put linens. Replaced all the sink faucets with new. Always thinking of things I can do to improve.

We are only part timers so we don't see any reason to update the whole coach. There are so many things that have come out since our coach was made. We try to only do comfort and necessary updates.....
