Lasko 754200 Ceramic Heater with Adjustable Thermostat
$24.97 on Amazon. CH (cheap heat, or ceramic heater) that most DIY can install... and doesn't require a 50 amp service or an engineering degree.

An important factor, whatever you decide is cost of fuel. Cornell University has the formula here: http://www.human.cornell.edu/dea/out...eHeatFuels.pdf to determine which costs less.

Does not provide enough heat for a coach
Does not heat the utility bays to protect from freezing
Dangerous to leave a space heater running unattended.

Sure, cheap space heaters can be used, but they leave much to be desired that the CH system has to offer. And its not that hard to install. Its a great upgrade and we will have one or something comparable on all future coaches.
