Hello,

I've been MIA for awhile and wanted to say hello. I hope you all had a great summer of camping. Our kids are back in school now so other than 3 weekend trips next month, we are pretty much done for the season.

This weekend is our official "ONE YEAR" of being campers. We started in a 5th wheel and switched to a motorhome in Feb. We couldn't be happier. We love the ease and flexibility of riding in the motorhome. If I start to get motion sick, I can go lay down and sleep for a couple of hours while one of my dd's takes over as co-pilot. The kids really enjoy being able to play games and have snacks at the table too. Even our dog seems to enjoy it. We've put over 8000 miles on Winne so far and have our bigger trips for next year planned out already. I think planning the trip is half of the fun I'll spend this winter pouring over camping magazines and campground websites looking for new places to explore. I think we are hooked !!

I know what you mean Shannone, the wife and I have been hooked for going on 10 years now! We are planning to full time starting next year when we both retire from our current postitions. The thought of being free to roam the country makes us giddy

Hang in there, another season is just around the corner!
