I think that the ratio of bad to good TPMS experiences would be about 1 out of a 100.
I've had my PP for going on 8 years now....never had a problem until recently when one of the sensor's battery is going south. Just time to replace all of them for this summer's excursions.
For me, I would not be without my TPMS....period.
