Choice of Coach

Hi there

As a newbie to the world of RV's does anybody have experience of either a 2005 Coachmen Mirada 290KS or a 2006 Four Winds Hurricane 30Q. Both are on sale over here in England and both look mighty fine coaches from Internet pictures.

We hope to view and test drive both over the weekend. I'd appreciate any advice from former owners. Okay on motorhomes generally but anything specific I should look out for?

Thanks. Mike

Hi Blodwyn Pig,
Welcome to iRV2. Have a certified truck technician check out the automotive part of the coach. On the coach, make sure every single appliance works. Look at the ceiling (inside the cabinets too) for water stains. Look at the roof seams for wear. When you drive the coach, listen for noises that should not be there. Are the maintenance records available? Make sure the plumbing works and does not leak. The body should be in good shape after you give it a coat of wax.
