It would be interesting to know what speed, what the temp was and what tires were on the MH. It looks like they were moving along pretty good, glad there were no serious injuries!

That dude was makin' time! Funny but I didn't see any 'reason' for the accident. Tire failure?

Holy cow, that is scary! That is my worst nightmare. I can only imagine how shaken up he must have been. So glad nobody was seriously injured.

Scary...I am going to be taking that same route in a few weeks. It did look like they were going fast to pass a semi at that rate. But I guess a blowout in the front like that can throw you.

A Blowout on left front will take you in that direction if you dont pay attention with both hands on the wheel. Accelerate to ovecome the pull and then slowly decrease speed to come to a safe spot.

Can anyone identify the age of the coach? I wondered about the age of the tires. If it's a newer coach, the age of the tires shouldn't be a factor. The thought of a blowout scares the bejesus out of me!

Scary stuff. Among many reasons, this is one of the big ones w/ regards to why I rarely break 60 mph in my motorhome.

Looking at the video again i see a sudden dip in the front end, maybe a panic brake, just before it veered to the left. Rubber is flying as the Rig is going into median. They were lucky.

WOW !
Not far from there is where we had a blowout on our 5er that ripped up the side... it's rough road, humid, and hot as that asphalt gets BAKED all day since it runs almost directly east and west so there's never any shade...

Can't show this to the wife or we'll never go over 30 mph

And it looks like HAVING a toad probably helped a LOT in that it acted as ballast.
