I ended up removing the seat after all. The swivel cable was routed wrong and somehow got pinched between the slider and the base. Sun City RV never had the seat out, so I don't know how or when it got routed wrong. When I had it off, I loosened the center bolt so it doesn't take weight lifter legs to rotate it. I also found if I position everything just right, I can get it to revolve 360.

Sometime they even work for the pain. Other times, they make me not care about the pain.

What AZ Bounder said works on my '04 Southwind on the Workhorse chassis. Those are the instructions in the owners manual (I think).
