has anybody modded the drivers chair in a gas powered class a were you can rotate the chair around to face rearward? seems like you should be able to do something so it would clear the steering wheel

In our 2004 Pace arrow, both front seats swivel around. You have to put the steering wheel in the up position, and off the top of my head, I can't remember if I put the driver seat all the way forward or backward . I pull the lever on the side of the seat, pull out the seat belt so I can lift it over the seat as it rotates, and presto. Seat is turned around.

mine won't,even with wheel raised up and chair slid all the way back

By maneuvering a bit we can get ours turned around also but never do it. My wife does her's all the time.

I sit in that seat all day and don't want to sit in it at night too.

what about leaning the seat forward (instead of reclining). does yours have the side lever for releasing it to turn around? I had to play with mine till I figure the right combo to getting it to spin

I would think they all turn around ?
Ours does with tilting the steering wheel up.

Try it with the seat in the full forward position, backrest vertical, armrest down and steering wheel full up. Thats the only way ours will rotate.

Im ours the steering wheel had to be up and the seat forward. My backrest can lean forward. Once swivled past the steering wheel you can put it bacl to verticle or recline a little. But if you lean it too far back to relax it leans on the horn...l until you raise it bak up. Wakes everyone up around you.

Our driver seat swivels around without any problem. Make sure the steering wheel is tilted all the way up and the seat is all the way back. You still might have to do some tilting of the seat as it rotates. Being it is a Bounder (Fleetwood Product) you may want to post the question over in that forum and see if you get some help.

shouldnt need to modify anything. Look under the seat... youll see the level

It can be a real series of moves. I first tried for a long time without success. Always got hung up. Then one day I did something and it worked. Do you think I paid attention to what I did? NOT!
I know it has to do with sliding the seat forward and back a couple of times during the process at the right time. That's the key. Left armrest up.
Stand on one leg. Hold your tongue to the right and quote some Shakespeare might help as well.

As Grandma used to say, "You've got to hold your mouth just right." Seat forward, seat back forward, left armrest down, steering wheel up and it should work. Be careful of over-rotating the chair and pulling out any wiring. Did that on the passenger side.

It's not a simple procedure nor is it really complicated but my drivers seat does swivel and the passengers seat swivels to face rearwards really easy.
