Class A In Mexico
Looking to purchase a used Class A but am eliminating diesels. My first-blush research raises the claims that diesel is not only in short supply in Mexico but the sulfur content is not up to spec for proper operation.

Anyone with experience or comment is mucho appreciated.

How about emailing one or two of the companies that offer guided trips in Mexico? I'm sure they will be happy to give you the low-down on how others have made out. Good luck.
ps. We are looking at doing a guided trip in a couple of years and have a gasser.

Contact this company and ask about taking a diesel motorhome. You don't have to tell them you don't want to do their caravan trip but just get the diesel information.

Diesel: no problema
I just finished a 27 days tour of Mexico with Caravan Soleil and confirm the availability of diesel all along our 2k miles journey.
I will be in Puerto Vallarta for 5 weeks then up along the Pacific coast to Arizona.
My only advise, do not risk this trip without a short and recent RV:
Newer than 2009 and shorter than 35 feet.
Nor do you want to damage your brand new 300k rig regardless of the lenght!
Otherwise, enjoy!

Looking primarily at a 35 foot max but why the 2009 cutoff? Parts?

Because Mexicans don't have MH dealers to support your need in parts, therefore it is safer to have a recent rig. Other than that, the Mexicans have proven to be inventive mechanics.

I see you found "Mexico Mike" Good info on traveling Mexico from Mike. There is a FB group specific to rv traveling in Mexico - it was started by the Bells I believe. The Bell's and Church's were considered the source for Mexico RVing at one time. Lot's of good info on the net. I'm headed to southern Baja this summer with my diesel truck and TT.
