We full time and currentely have Progressive Ins on our fiver. We are purchasing a class A 2008 Pace Arrow motor home. I am looking for feed back on National Interstate Insurance Co. they beat Progressive by $300.00 annual premium. Any information will be appreciated.
Thanks, Lloyd.

I've had National Interstate through AON for three years and I'm happy with them as well as the cost. However, I've never filed a claim so that's all I can tell you.

I have National Interstate thru Explorer RV, which is a company owned agency for motorhome insurance. Am in my third year with them and quite satisfied, though have never made a claim.

I have had claims, including total loss, while covered by Progressive. They covered the losses as expected. Make sure that the coverage you get actually has things like coverage for lodging if your problem occurs away from your home location and full replacement coverage for the first 5 years and original purchase price after that. I know what a differnce that can be when the bad happens.

I have American Family Insurance...I think a very good rate with $500.00 deduct. Just had a claim for hail damage to the tune of Just over $14,000. Took two weeks to get total est from dealer but only took Am Fam one day to send me the money....so far real good.

If you are over 55 and no children to include in an insurance policy, check out AARP Hartford. Have insured with them for about 5 years now. I periodically check on the competition such as Progressive, Geico, Allstate, Farmers, and those advertised through Good Sam etc. None can touch what I pay for the MH and 3 cars. Not even close. I do live in a rural, small town which helps the overall rate versus living in a city, but all the insurance quotes take location into their pricing.
I have had a window claim that got handled quickly, and when the installer screwed things up, they helped get it done right.
More recently I had $8500+ storm damage from a freak wind storm in TX...involved awning replacement from a Newmar dealer, and body work from a separate body shop. Everything handled just fine.
