The dude misspelled the Country chassis. It is DynoMax, not Dynomax. Totally different animals.

I hope spartan is compared to the new Buick because nobody under 50 drove the old Buick it was your grandmothers car.

I wonder how the new 2015 Monaco Roadmaster Chassis would rank as it now has IFS that it never had before.

Interesting, but they missed the Tiffin Powerglide chassis.

He's talking about the even older buick back when they were a cut above other cars.... however, that was before the current crop of 50 year olds were born

Pigman 1,
Gary Jones who designed the Peak chasis used by WRV in the Alpine Coach, also designed the Powerglide. I've not driven a Powerglide but would think Gary took lessons leaned from the Peak and improved on it for the Powerglide.

They also left out Prevost - the bus chassis under many ultra high-end coaches.

The article is dated 2007, so mostly relevant to older coaches. Peak, Magnum and Roadmaster are gone. The "new" Roadmaster is the Freightliner modular chassis components coupled with the Fleetwood/ASV Liberty chassis rails, essentially the same chassis that American Coach uses.

I don't see any comparative databetween chassis builders, or even any chassis model identities, so its not all that helpful to buyers. Freightliner and Spartan, for example, build multiple families of chassis. And Freightliner's XC chassis is almost infinitely configurable when ordered, so it is very difficult to compare unless a specific configuration (year and model of coach) is cited.
