I have a 2008 Damon Challenger and the wiper blades have a J hook. All the auto wiper blades with a J kook are not wide enough to fit MH. Still looking for non MH wiper blades.

Just bought two that worked at Walmart had to do a slight modification and had them on within 10 mins. And only cost me 18 bucks.

Just a note for those bragging about paying less that $20 for your blades....

Most new late model single piece windshield motorhomes use large wipers over 31" long.

All of the big box stores and normal auto parts chains only carry up 28".

I ran into the same problem, I bought the expensive wipers from the dealer, but now I have a standard size that I can replace with inserts. Wasn't able to do that with the stock blades, so to me, made sense.

ANCO 28 inches. Work great on mine. $5 bucks each. The originals were longer, but the 28's work fine.

I was looking for wiper blades and ran accross an interesting article. Unfortunately i did not book mark the URL. The Author talked about the length of wiper blades and chattering. One of the statements he made was going from 32 inch blades down to 28 inch blades to stop the wipers from chattering. The author felt like the 28 inch blades still cleaned more than enough area to see out of and did a better job than the longer blades.

My MH has wiper arms that use saddle type mounts. There are wide and narrow saddles and they attach with lock nuts and bolts. I've found nothing like these at Walmart or anywhere else cheap. $25-$35. I replace the drivers side then move that one to the passenger side for a bit. I also apply rain-x, not only do the wipers work better but the bugs are easier to get off.

How much bigger do you want? CW has 36" and 40" listed as well. Knock yourself out!

I just got a couple of Rain-X wiper blades at Pep Boys for $26.00 each. They are the large J-Hook type and do a great job.

I got lucky.. Found my blades are standard automotive/pickup length so they are sold (Almost) in every auto parts store and department sea to sea.

I did have to modify slightly.. The hole the pin on the universal replacement units one side needed to be drilled out a bit.. NOT a problem I have the tool.. Considering the price difference...

(OH I agree the RV units way overpriced).
