for us, we needed to pull a 20 foot trailer with an offroad Jeep, total towed weight about 7500 pounds. That really limited our options as relatively few had a 10000 pound hitch and rating It really is about understanding what your needs and your wants are and keep them separate in your mind,

I am on my second RV the first was 35 foot two slides. We camp with friends when it rains we play cards inside 35 foot two slides was too small. We now have a 40 foot 4 slides we love it!!!!!!! Dont get one too small.
