I kind of agree. Everyone's first impulse is to throw parts at a problem. The mods should only come after a good alignment. A good alignment with an alignment shop that knows are RV's is the correct start. The local shop I use aligns a lot of motorhomes both old and new and the alignment mechanic says nearly all have the same complaints about handling. He says the fix is almost always a 1/4" of toe in and increasing caster to 5-6 degrees.
Based on expert advice and what the alignment mechanic suggested. I replaced front springs to eliminate air bags, added a self centering front steering damper, better shocks and replaced front and rear sway bar rubber bushings with denser urethane bushings. After the mods he realigned it again. Drives more like a big suv that the bread truck chassis that it is.I don't drive the expressways much ,but when I do the big trucks still rock me. Except now I'm not fighting the wheel to keep in my lane.
