Clean Counter

I have counter tops in the kitchen that look like marble (but it is not) and I would like to put a shine on them without damaging them. Could you please give me some suggestions.
Thank u!

My only concern with trying to put a shine on them is that they are a food contact surface. Any polish could be transfered to you and injested. Spent 32 years in food service and never polished a food contact surface.

I put food on the counter. Not raw food but fruits. Things like apples, peaches, etc. So the comment about food on the countertop isn't unreasonable.

My countertops are Corian and I us Granite & Marble polish and it works great. Yes, I've probably injested some of it as well and so far I'm ok!
