Talking Clean Top to Bottom

It took two days but my HR Ambassador is clean from top to bottom. I've been up and down a dozen times, replaced both A/C shrouds, replaced the spinning roof vent, caulked around several items on the roof. First I scrubbed the roof then applied a good coat of Mop & Glow, and then I washed the whole coach and re-waxed the front end. A good two days of work for a creaky 75-year-old. Sure hope I can keep it up for a few more years.

Looks great,

I did the same thing last year but well worth the effort. I used Zep high traffic wax. Mine still looks good and it won't be as hard to clean this next year.

Looks great. What product did you use to scrub the roof?

Looks real good JSW. I did this last year, and again this past weekend. The roof was much easier to clean than when I did it the first time. After the wash I apply 303 Protectant. Good stuff, but man that roof gets slippery after the application, so great care is required. Its even more challenging on my Outlaw because of the sloped front 2/3 of the roof. Kudos to you doing this as a 75 y.o!

Jerry, I used Voom RV Cleaner plus Simple Green on some tuff spots. Jim, next time I will try the Zep, I'm sure it would last longer than Mop and Glo.

Looking good!! Great exercise, keep it up.

I've epoxied and painted my two A/C shrouds to match the color of my rig.

I'm only 70 so it's guys like you that I have to keep up with. You're setting a good example for the rest of us.

And that is why I'm paying our 20 year old Grandson $100 to do ours. He needs the college book money and we need a clean rig

The roof looks awesome in pic!! Pretty impressive for 75 years young. I just hope I know what a ladder is and where mine is at when I get to that age!!

I am only 63 and the wife and I are off on a two week adventure starting today with our coach. I had a three day weekend last weekend so I spent most of all three days cleaning and HAND WAXING my rig. 303ed the plastic on top and everything. Sunday evening twilight it was sparkling!!

Got up Monday morning and it was raining!!! Yes, raining in Las Vegas. In the desert it was raining. I could not believe it and wifey felt so bad she made my fav breakfast. Oh well, the 3600 mile trip was bound to mess things up anyway.

But yours looks great!!
