cleaning carpeting on the interior roof

hey all,
I have a 2000 Winnebago Chieftain and there are dark stains on the ceiling carpet in the bedroom. It's not wet and I don't think the roof is leaking. I remember reading something about the aluminum framing causing this. How do you clean it. Also there are stains around the ceiling by the shower but I'm attributing this to the wifes hot showers in a cold air conditioned vehicle. Any advice would be helpful

Use 50 percent Boraxide and 50 percent Water. Spray on with spray bottle and let soke for about 10 minutes before taping with clean paper towel. Do not rub. Works great.

My 01 adventurer had a leaking cracked skylight and stained the fablic ceiling in the bedroom. I used our bisell carpet shampoo machine on the upholstery mode. It worked great.
Good luck

I bought one of these and it works great. Don't use the power brush though because it may make the fibres fuzzy. I had some dirty staining around the front A/C and it come out so nice I now need to do the rest of the entire ceiling.

Hi - I recently looked at a 2000 Monaco Windsor. Owner has had it sitting for 4 years and has serious stains in the interior Ozite roof covering. My questions is what permanent damage is there to the roof from this leaking? Ed
