Simply remove it from the air duct and spray the little wire on the inside with mass air flow cleaner. Reinstall and make sure it is plugged in.

Get a can of CRC MAF cleaner. The instructions on the can are very detailed and will get you the proper way to clean one(unenergized with the MAF warm). Do not touch the resistors inside the sensor, that will ruin them most likely.
Once in a while you get shown the light, In the strangest of places if you look at it right
