Coach batteries not charging while driving. 2005 Safari Trek

I have just bought a 2005 Safari Trek on w22 workhorse. I noticed that my battery boost switch isn't working when my chassis start battery would not start the coach. I found a blown fuse the the battery boost switch and replaced it but that did not seem to fix it.

Through this process I don't think my coach batteries charge when I'm driving. I have to start generator or shore power.

These problems are most likely related? Help? It's most likely a solenoid or relay but I don't have a wiring diagram or part list. Thanx all for your anticipated help

Ron.

I am currently waiting on a 40 dollar part to repair a similar problem with my W25.5 chassis. House bank not charging while driving, house bank does charge with generator or shore power.

My rig has the BIRD system and it is in a box with a plexiglas cover up high on the outer engine firewall. Within that box is a solenoid that probably has stopped working.

A handheld VOM can confirm whether solenoid is operating while the drive engine is running. Be sure to run engine a few minutes to allow engine start battery to reach charging voltage first. Then BIRD tells solenoid to close and start charging cycle to house batts.

Ron, chances are it's the interconnect relay, a 12V continuous duty relay. I replaced ours a few months ago, this is the part I used:

DC Power Solenoid - Hvac Controls - Amazon.com
