Coach battery diagram with inverter

Removed my four 6vdc coach batteries to clean the corrosion. Thought I knew how to put them back together with the inverter and a wire from an isolator from the chassis battery.
I hook it up and the inverter panel says "fault, dead battery" all of the batteries check out at 6.75 volts. I must have it hooked up wrong some how. Anybody got a diagram that can show me the error in my ways.

That's why it's recommended to label each connection or take a photo!!
Here's two diagrams of wiring 2 sets of 6 volt batteries to give 12 v.

Thanks. I've got the 6volts hooked up in series and then the pair hooked up in parallel, what I think I'm having the problem with is the inverter and another wire coming from the coach/battery isolator. Got the heavy inverter wire that goes through the large fuse hooked up to positive and the small wire (it looks like a phone line) hooked to negative and the isolator wire hooked to positive. It just ain't working.

Have you looked online for a manual for your inverter? Perhaps it can help. The small wire might be a temperature sensor that is attached to a battery to prevent overcharging.

It's kinda like closeing the barn door after the horse has gotten out. However, if you ever have to do this again. Take your cell phone and take pictures of the wiring prior to taking it apart. It will serve as a good reference for putting it back together.

Man do I feel dumb. Thanks for steering me toward the inverter manual. The small wire is a battery temp sensor, and I had the negative lead coming from the inverter hooked up wrong. All good now, thanks for the help guys, what a great resource this forum is.

Coach battery diagram with inverter

I replaced our 4 house batteries recently with new interstate AGM's. Before I took the old batteries out I put a label on each end of each cable in the bay.

Here's a picture of the new batteries installed. You can see the yellow labels on the cables.
