The film is from Home Depot and it comes in a few sizes. I use the 4'x25' roll and cut it. I also had my windows tinted in addition to cutting the reflective foil to fit the window openings.
As far as rats are concerned go buy 0000 steel wool and place it in all the openings. I put it around the electric cord, sewer and water hose. Rats don't like how it feels and will avoid it.

A quick tip to post some pics;

Click on the "Go Advanced" button under the "Quick Reply" window.
Look for the paper clip icon and add the pics as attachments.

On my Windows 8.1 computer I can right click on a picture and select the "resize" option to make the file smaller. This facilitates emailing, texting, and posting photos.
