I have 2012 Coachmen Encounter bath and half since new with 35 k miles. Toilets are porcelain step flush. Have had very few problems with it and the quality has been as good or better than most. Real tile floor, king bed. Overall been a great coach for us.

I have a 2015 Encounter 37LS. It's had it's share of "issues" that required months at the dealer and the factory repair shop.

Driver and passenger window replaced
Front cap resealed
Windshield resealed 3 times
Steps replaced
Slide out seals replaced
Entire unit was resealsed by the factory
New bathroom mirror need when the light fixture fell off the wall
Residential refrigerator had to be replaced and that resulted in a wall of cabinets being rebuilt at the factory
All drawer latches had to be replaced
Coach batteries replaced
Chassis battery needs to be replaced next year
Awning was wired to the wrong battery so it didn't have enough power to retract.
Water filter housing was missing the o ring

A lot went wrong, a lot they fixed, some I fixed but over all it's still a soilid unit. Would I buy Coachmen again, NO.

Wow Crankshaft, seems quality control slipped or something. At the one year point I took mine in for a few warranty items, done quickly and good to go. Hate to hear your story, but hope you are good to go now.

My bounder has been magnificent! I have been in many coachman products and their build quality and materials don't even approach fleet woods.

Not exactly. Took it on it's first trip since we bought it 8 months ago. Adding to the list:
We found that when they reinstalled the bathroom vanity light they didn't get all the wires inside the light. I have to loosen the fixture and push the wiring back in.

When they reinstalled the bathroom mirror they must have reinstalled it differently. It seems to be sticking out a bit further than before. You wouldn't think that's a big issue but the sink faucet is off center and next to the mirror. When you shut off the hot water the lever (it's a 2 lever faucet) hits the mirror. The water shuts off but it's still not right. I'll replace it with a single lever faucet eventually.
