Hi Tom, and welcome to IRV2. To give any kind of inteligent answer, we need more info. Make model and year of MH, and chassis manufacturer and gas or diesel.

Late model gas MH's, anything having to do with cruise goes straight into the engine computer.

Tom,

The cruise control, steering & instrument package etc is created by the chassis manufacturer.

I have an 04 Freightliner chassis so may not be of much help, but there is an item in one of my fuse panels that's called a 'Cruise Disengage Relay.' Not sure what it does or if you have one, but it's the only thing close I could see in my manual.

I'd suggest you call Freightliner at 1-800-FTL-HELP (have your VIN #) and they can probably assist you. They are very helpful.

Have you checked to see if you have power @ the switch? Otherwise contacting Freightliner for some wiring help. The engine ecm also controls the cruise control and other speed related settings, but if it worked before and stopped working I would be leaning towards a power / wire issue.

I had a vehicle that the cruise quit working. I found a burnt tail/brake light and replaced the bulb and cruise started working again. Not sure if it can be a problem on a DP but easy to check.
