Coachmen Mirada

Went to the RV show in OKC today and saw a new Mirada 35os. I like the floor plan and the open space provided by the opposite sides. Does anybody have this particular model or any of the other Mirada models. What are your pros and cons. I was originally considering the Leprechaun but I think the Mirada is much better.

I have 2018 35KB

Thoughts...

1.- There is a post on Yahoo Mirada owners group today about an owner who advises that many of the 2019 components have been upgraded and the seats appear heavier and more useful.

2.- My unit is (so far) the MOST trouble free unit we've owned. This is MH #6 including gas and diesel Winnebago and Tiffin units. The only thing I'm working on changing is the driver seats are too short for long term comfort.

3.- I'll mention that although I like the 35OS model, I DO NOT like longer slideout even with the newer drive system. That was the reason for trading my last one. Those things get out of alignment and you're screwed and stuck where it is if the slide is too far out to drive.

4.- We got ours last year at Motorhome Specialists and it was also THE BEST experience I've ever had on a purchase. www.mhsrv.com

5.- I see you're in OK. We live in Fort Smith, AR and would be glad to give you a tour if desired. It sits in my heated WH and I love to show it off! PM me if I can help.

Thanks - Eric

Thanks for the info. I was considering MHS for a Leprechaun or Entegra Vision but then I saw this Mirada at the show. There is a dealer in OKC that has it so it would be a lot easier to deal with them. I am planning to be full-time solo in June/July and I liked the open space in the 35os.

I only had one repair under warranty on my Mirada. It was for a leveling jack that was not welded properly to the frame. Overall I have been very satisfied with the build quality. I am currently working through a couple plumbing issues only one of which is a possible Coachmen build issue. That being said, since it is on a Ford F53 chassis, prepare to spend $3K to $5K on upgrading the suspension to make it handle reasonably well.
