Cockpit Vinyl Flooring
I would like to remove the carpeted floor in the cockpit area. Would the vinyl laminate be easier to install than hardwood laminate?

Alex,
We used a simulated wood grain vinyl sheeting from Home depot to redo our entire interior. I have attached a couple of PICs to show the results. This install was pretty easy, and stills looks good after several years of service.

Is that a benefit of the planks or because they are glued down?
And which glue? There is Pressure Sensitive which I fear will pop loose when it's 100F in my travel trailer. And there is Epoxy which I fear would require a jack hammer if you ever needed to replace a damaged plank? Thanks for any guidance.

if you use pressure sensitive, correctly, they will not pop loose.
if you treat the floor with any kind of moisture control treatment, adhesive will not adhere to the floor

I should have mentioned my trailer is a toy hauler. I load the ATV crosswise by driving it partially in at an angle, then push the rear in sideways, jacked up on a motorcycle jack with 3 inch casters. Then the 700# beast is strapped in to ride on the flooring.
If you still think pressure sensitive adhesive will hold, I will try it, although Armstrong recommends S240 epoxy for their Natural Creations vinyl plank in installations of "concentrated static and dynamic loads or
temperature fluctuations."
If pressure sensitive glue didn't hold, I suppose I could re-glue it with epoxy. But if I use epoxy right off the bat, there may no un-doing it without replacing the sub-floor.

I never thought about what you described and the use of what the floor is going to go thru. epoxy would be best- or commercial paint
