Does any other MH company other than Newmar offer the TRW comfort steer system?

Skipper is correct about Newell. As I understand it there are several commercial (non mh ) bus companies that use it on city buses

TRW calls their product Column Drive, Newmar calls it Comfort Drive, Newell calls it EasySteer.

The current situation is that both Spartan and Freightliner are in exclusive agreements with Newmar on making the TRW system available to them only. There is no exclusive agreement with TRW and an chassis or coach manufacturers. I don't recall exactly how long that agreement has left on it but I think it is somewhere between 1 & 2 years. Heck...it could be done sooner than that. LOL

Any other chassis/coach manufacturer can obtain the TRW Column Drive system if they desire to do so. I would expect that the exclusive agreement between Newmar with Spartan and FL will not be renewed but who knows for sure?

At Camp Freightliner we were told the exclusive between TRW & Newmar had expired a few years ago. Seems like 2008.

That is true...

Since then FL & Spartan entered into an exclusive agreement with Newmar...not TRW. Again...that agreement may have expired also but something in the back of my brain says it has a little more time on it.
