Compatible Michelin tire?

I have a Firestone 255 70R 22.5 Load Range H and wondering what Michelin tire would be compatible for replacing my Firestone.
Thanks

Hi and welcome to the forum.

Best of luck.

I have the original XRV Michelins in your same size still in my 03 coach. I checked for signs of ageing, the small cracks in the sidewalls, and dry and powdery areas and have found none yet. Only 40,000 miles since new, but garage kept, and always inflated to 110# cold per the manufacturer. Have you had trouble with the Firestones?

As asked did you have a problem or reason not to keep running the firestones?

No, I'm getting a new Fleetwood Bounders with Michelin tires and wondering if I could use my spare Firestone tire in case of a flat. Wasn't sure if it would fit on the rim of the Bounder. Thanks for the info. I really enjoy this forum. Learn so much.

If it's the same size tire and load rating there is no reason not to use it as a spare (spare does not mean your going to use it for 5/10/20000 miles).

If it's mounted on a wheel then it may not be as usable as there are many different styles of wheels which most are all incompatible.

If its mounted , you may not be able to fit it anywhere. I carry an unmounted spare in the rear pass through and it's a tight fit.
