Check out Gone with the Wynn's on YouTube, they have several videos explaining their use of one.

Another advantage is you can now have two gray water holding tanks. deSanford

They must be vented and they have a fan that runs 24/7... Minimal draw but electrical draw nonetheless

A miniature solar panel can take care of the small draw. Not only that you can put the "compost" by a tree or plant and help it grow, or drop it in the nearest trash can. It is very nice in landfills versus the sewer treatment plants or septic tanks leaching into the ground water. deSanford

All 100% agreed.. Kind of where i was going, but didn't finish the thought. Only thing stopping me is the wife. Baby steps... She will turn around at first black tank incident.😈... Perhaps ill "induce" one...... Accidentally and controlled of course

The more pressing issue is ppl new to composting toilets or Humanure practice in general must be aware the compost MUST be composted fully or they can save some money and just go directly on the tree or flowers... I've seen many dump prematurely completely unaware of the pathogen problem. Some seem to have a problem understanding their 2k investment works over time..lol

Btw... The "liquids" are also fantastic fertilizer once properly diluted.. Deadly to plants in the raw form..
