Computer fold out table for Passenger side Class A

Looking through pics of old and new rigs I have come across some with fold out computer tables that sit on top of the existing dash or are cut in to the existing dash directly in front of the passenger seat.

Does anyone know where to purchase one of these I can install.

My DW would love to have this option as she spends a lot of time on Facebook

This may not be the one for you but is a good place to start.

A little searching and you will uncover more.
Good luck.

Thank you.

I found a picture of one in a Gulfstream with the G on it but can't find it again.

The post above is a picture of a Thor Palazzo. This folding table and sidewall compartment are common to several new Thor Motor Coach (TMC) models.

And I know from personal experience that Thor will sell you any parts/accessories from any current model production...just call customer service. (877) 855-2876. Or fill out a request for quote here Customer Care | Thor Motor Coach #1 Brand of Motorhomes | Diesel Pushers,Class A,Class B,& Class C RV s

They will refer you to a retail service outlet in your area (like La Mesa RV or me) to complete the retail purchase...sorry no mail orders from the factory.

I noticed that Newmar had a passenger sidewall compartment that had a computer table that folds out like an airliner chair...very similar but would noy require cutting into the dash.

BTW; Stuff from the factory will be "pricey" to say the least.

Best of luck!

Visit a auto sound place, many do custom things like this, they may have catalogs of different things.

You may be able to get some hardware that mounts to the dash that would allow desk to snap in.

Lots of possibilities

I took your Advice, Well Kinda, I was thinking that Gulfstream Motor Coach was no more so I would have to search elsewhere, and first came accross a Picture of a Plazzio, but then later found a Picture of the Gulfstream version, I posted.

You inspired me to try and get a hold of Gulfstream and I did, Guess What, they have, New Old Stock Left over. 175.00 Shipped.

They have the Hinge and the wooden top, but not the plastic trim, so I will have to put my wood working hat on and make some trim to go around it..

Thanks to all for your advice.

Ted.

That's great and affordable too!

I wish we (Damon/Thor folks) could order factory direct too but the factory authorized sales center is OK and close.

When I started the process to get the folding table shown in the picture in the OP, my navigator reminded me that the right half of the dash is her "big 'ol footrest" for those long drives between destinations. Oh well - she can just rest the laptop on her lap.

Hope you post a pic of the upgrade when you are done

Best of luck and safe travels.

That one looks interesting. But does it travel there? Does it interfere with using the right mirror?

Finished product

I took it apart, stripped it to bare wood, built sides and back for it, then stained and cleared it.

It was a blond instead of Cherry.

I cantilevered it a bit toward the seat because the seat is so far from the dash, when you flip it up and toward you it is Just Right to work on a laptop or book or what ever.

Really Pleased with the results.

Different lighting with a flashlight and or flash.

Great looking installation. Do you have any pics of it opened up/pulled out?
