For the age your looking at you could buy a nice DP coach for less money than a new gas coach. Newmar, Tiffin, Monaco, Travel Supreme, Country Coach and Winnebago are all great coaches. I've had 2 gas rigs and loved them but I love my DP the best. Good luck in your search.

we are currently mid way in a trip from ohio to florida, via the Biltmore in Asheville nc.............it was my first experience of driving our 07 Monaco knight thru the mountains, and I must say, the power of the diesel, coupled with the exhaust brake, made the drive thru the smokies enjoyable................maintained conservative speed and only touched the brakes once between Jellico tn and Asheville...................and the drive between those two cities was pretty hilly and curvy.......................I would strongly recommend a DP to anyone, and a used one will work as long as you have it checked out before you buy.....................but before you buy anything used, have some spare cash available for tweeks after your purchase...............there are always tweeks................
