Considering for purchase

Looking at a 2006 Winnebago Adventurer 38J for our first step up to a class A. Anybody have experience them or opinions.

Only you can determine if the 38J is the right floor plan for you, but the Adventurer has been the top gasser in the WBGO lineup, same as the Suncruiser under the Itasca nameplate.

IMO, you want to determine which chassis it is built on-hopefully the WCC W-24. If that is correct, then you MAY have the J72 AAPB, but you will NOT be subject to the infamous BOSCH brake recall that affected the W-20 thru W22 Workhorse chassis.

The 38J was only built on the Workhorse W24 chassis.

The 38J is a very, very nice floor plan.

Well, I guess that just leaves the J72 as the only chassis concern.

The 06 could have an 05 chassis like mine. The 05 chassis uses a 5 speed Allison transmission, whereas the 06 has the 6 speed.
