Cool Consignment Dealer help west Florida???

I am currently trying to sell my 2000 Country Coach 36' DP. I am in MN and am looking to take it to FL to put it in consignment. On line I have found North Trail, Palm RV, Camping World, etc. all have consignment options. From previous experience, can anyone suggest a reputable fair person (or dealer) that I could contact?

Give Quality Motor Coach in Apopka, Florida a call.

Gary (owner) is a straight shooter, do not know if he will do consignment but he may want to purchase your unit for resale.

North Trail is big and they sell a lot of RV's. Their service is great. We bought our Journey there and I would certainly purchase there again. Call Joe Plivich there. You want a GOOD dealer with a good flow of traffic. I would stay away from Camping World. I have heard some bad stories from people who purchased there.

Dive to Quartzsite with a for sale sign on it. THOUSANDS of potential buyers!

If you want to drive a little farther west take it to PPL Motorhomes in Houston, TX. All they do is sell on consignment and they are the largest and best in the business.

What not just place an add on rvt? The shorter country coaches seem to be sought after and don't last long for sale. I sold my last rig and also bought my last rig via private party. You might make mention of your rig in the cc owners forum.

Thanks for the ideas. I have been trying to sell it since last summer and have had it on RVT, CL, and other sites. Have had interest but usually can't get financing due to buyers credit. People that have the $$ probably are buying something newer with less miles. Quartzite is a good idea, and also am familiar with PPL, but looking to go to FL to visit family and kill two birds with one stone. Probably won't get much if a dealer buys it outright so was hoping to sell it myself but really want this over and done.

How many calls have you gotten from Omaha from a company that wants to sell it for you?

Damon Rapozo has a good reputation for putting buyers and sellers together.

Carpenter's Campers in Pensacola FL is about as far west in FL as you can go in FL without being in AL. They've been in business for over 50 years with same Carpenter family ownership. Ask for Jim Cook, long time general manager. They take consignments. Their number is: (800) 477-6630. I'm not affiliated with Carpenters, but have known & used them for over 10 years.
