If someone buys a new RV with a 1 year mfg. warranty and 10 days later the mfg. shuts down, does the consumer have any legal recourse against mfg. for things wrong with RV?

Unfortunately, in most all cases, the owner is left with no warranty, and very little legal recourse.

If this happens, I suggest one learn all one can about the circumstances of the business closure, to see if any help may be available.

You have tons of legal rights... but like they say "you can't get blood out of a turnip". You can find out who is handling the bankruptcy and file to be reimbursed for repairs, but you will be at the end of the line. The line starts with bank loans and then vendors and last customers. The banks and vendors usually consider themselves lucky if they get 10¢ on the dollar.
But remember.. most items in your RV are covered by the manufacture of that part and not the RV manufacturer.
