Contacting recent poster

I recently sent all the info and wiring diagrams on my coach to Donnell Robinson. He needed the manuals and wiring schematic's for his Harney coach.
I sent them to him on Aug 24th and have never heard back from him. Sent two emails and still no answer.
Beginning to wonder if I did a foolish thing in trusting someone and trying to help.
I have his address and will be sending him a letter. Tracking numbers says they were delivered on Aug 27th.
Anyone else have any contact with this individual. I can not seem to find his original post.

It's not as if you sent him your SSN, birthdate, bank account number/PIN etc

Just some RV diagrams

I wouldn't loose sleep over it.
Guy might have died hence no response

You are right it is not going to break my bank, However they were all my manuals and schematic's that I have accumulated over the 20 years I have owned the coach, thus they are very valuable to me.
Have sent them out to other members several times and were always returned and I always felt good knowing I helped another member here. As I have always been helped here with problems I had.
Be nice!

Did you let him know that you needed them back and it was just a loan? It sucks that such a Grand gesture you did for him and he didn't even acknowledge what you did for him! I hope that you can get them back!

Yes ,I sent all the originals and I am not asking for them back right now as I told him I wouldn't need them until later this month. What concerns me is I get no response from my emails asking if he received them

That's pretty trusting. I hope it is just a holiday thing. I copied all my buddy's manuals, took a while since I wasn't clear on the the systems I had vs his even though they were the same Mfr.
To just send them to a stranger....

I commend you for wanting to help, but I think you made a HUGE mistake by sending your originals! I’ve done similar things with electronic schematics for old electronic gear that are no longer available, but I always sent scanned copies via email. I would NEVER let the originals out of my possession.

I hope you get them back. When you do, scan them and make digital copies you can send via email, Dropbox or some other on line method. There is no need to send this kind of material by regular mail any more.

Hopefully you'll hear from her. Something could've happened or she's ghosting you. Who knows. You were quite trusting sending such valuable-to-you documents to a total stranger. If you do get them back & you decide to loan them out again, never send originals. Make copies to send & if you want anything back include a SASE to encourage the return.

I hope you get them back.

Thanks for all the replies. I too hope I get them back.My wife says I am to trusting and maybe she is right. I do have his address and will give him some more time. I can always drive up to his place if it comes to that.
