We have a gas cook top & convection microwave oven. No problems. Cooks as well as the gas oven did in the fifth wheel.

We have only a microwave/convection combination oven. It is great. My wife makes some delicious dishes and brownies with it. And, we like the extra space by not having a conventional oven.
I usually use the outdoor BBQ grille. I can burn up meat as good as anyone can. : )

The only problem we have with our Microwave/Convection oven is the noise, what with running the vent along with it. We like the extre storage where the oven was. Holds most of our pots and pans. See sig.

I'm not a fan of ours at all. Ours doesn't have any elements underneath, don't know if they are all that way, so it doesn't cook anywhere near as good as our regular oven.

My wife can no longer cook so when we bought a new coach I demanded a Propane oven. I think I have used it 3 times and now it stores the frying and 9 x 11 pans. All of my baking, including cakes, pies, turkeys, roast, etc., is done in the convection/microwave. Love it. Our next coach will not have a propane anything, much less an oven.

Have a convection/microwave in our coach. DW was slightly intimidated by it at first - she knew microwaves but not convection/microwaves. Now she would probably not use a propane oven if we had one. Cooking is much more even - biscuits come out uniformly browned, etc. And it's faster in most respects. Her biggest complaint is it seems to take longer to preheat.
