Cooking tops gas

How do I keep my cover over gas stove up? Worked well since purchase but recently would not stay up or open. 2004 National Sea Breeze LX Charles

What's different now than back when it stayed up? Is it bent, loose, or otherwise changed? You could always use a bungee cord wrapped around the back side of the cover and hooked on the front edges. Without photos or more description of the problem, that's about all I've got.

Mine has a little catch on the left that hooks the cook top cover to keep it up.
