Cool-o-matic fan motor
I have a 2002 Monaco Windsor with a Cool-o-matic ceiling fan. I pull the rig out of storage and the fan would not start.
Checked voltage from the thermostat, it was OK.
Check the 3 speed switch, it tested good and voltage was passing through it.
Initially the motor would not start but after fooling with it started to run but at a slower speed. Took the motor apart and cleaned it, the brushes were sticking but I blew them out with compressed air and they seemed to be free. The armature is the problem, it is wore down quite a bit. I cleaned and ran a utility knife through the grooves. Reassembled and the motor worked better but not as it should.
I am looking for a replacement motor. The original motor was a Fasco 2819-531-003N but I cannot find one.
Anyone has a replacement for fan???
