Cost of Freightliner XC-L chassis?

I have a 2013 Winnebago 35 ft diesel pusher that has been in a rollover accident (fell on the side) The RV part is basically junk on it, but chassis/drivetrain-wise it is in untouched, excellent condition. Only 11k miles on it. Unit had 3 slides and cost $250k when new. I wonder how much Winnebago pays Freightliner for the chassis, as to find out the basis to price my unit on to sell it. Freightliner does not sell to the public apparently and refused to provide me pricing...

Sorry to hear about your accident that has now become your opportunity. The Freightliner Chassis, Motor, tires, brakes, and instrumentation would be the package that you want to sell. How about the air levelers? Are they still functional? Any upgrades - Banks, Enhanced Suspension, Jacks, etc? Based on the total package that you want to sell, you should be able to come up with a fair price.

Remember, anyone wanting it will still have to transport it and get rid of the upper portion, so they will discount the bluebook off of the "good" stuff for that.

It sounds like it might be a great project for someone wanting to build customer or restore.

Good luck!

Wasn't it insured? What does the insurer show as the salvage value?

Call an RV salvage yard and see what they will offer for it. Obviously it is worth more than what they will offer if somebody wants an entire chassis ready to roll, but there probably aren't all that many buyers for that.

Visonerv.com is one popular salvage yard. colawrvsalvage.com is another.

As a data point, you can buy a late model Freightliner truck chassis cab for around $20k-$25k.
