Cracked Windshield on my 1984 Vogue

The winter has cracked my windshield on my 1984 Vogue restoration.

Anyone have any suggestions where I can find a replacement?

I plan to probably replace it myself.

Thanks

Jim

Cracked Windshield on my 1984 Vogue

After some research, and an educational phone call with Coach Glass, I went to a local RV repair shop for mine. They had a preferred installer who measured and ordered the glass. It's not as simple as make/model/year like a car. Surprising to me, the installer would not guarantee against breakage during the installation. If the glass broke, it would have been at my $600 expense. The shop owner said that this installer had never broken a windshield at their shop, and he did a great job on mine.

Make sure the metal the windshield mounts against if free of rust and corrosion.

It may be why it cracked if the first place and will need to be cleaned up prior to installing the new one or it will crack again.

I speak from experience.
