It's a structural part of the rv
Leave it to the professionals
Hopefully you have glass coverage...$$$$
Did you twist the frame with the levelers?

What is your coach? Couldn't call anything up from your sign in.

I had a class C windshield replaced once at a regular shop- no problem.
Also, have had one side of a class A replaced at the storage facility by a qualified shop. I was there keeping watch, and it was a job. Hate to see what it takes to maneuver a single piece windshield in a class A.

Most regular glass shops won't touch a class A windshield and will tell you so.

All else fails, I 'd ask your insurance company to recommend a few shops, or call a few rv shops as to their recommendations.

Good luck

If you want the best don't use Safelite.

Find a local company that has plenty of experience replacing RV glass. It ain't easy. I know, I own a glass shop and I turn away most Class A RVs. First problem for a glass shop is the insurance company tries to rape us on price and then expect us to warranty a $1000.00 piece of glass and pay us a profit of $100.00 on the glass. No thanks.

You may want to contact Duncan Systems. They have installers all across the country. Their warehouse in Elkhart ships worldwide and besides motor homes, they do semi tractors. They replaced two windshields for me at their headquarters in Elkhart and one at the FMCA rally in Perry, GA. I would recommend them.

When my Baystar Sport needed a windshield my insurance company called Binswanger glass. They came out, measured, ordered the replacement. When it came in they brought 5-6 people to install it at my house. It’s a heavy piece of glass. They did a great job. No issues since. And since I had comprehensive coverage 0 out of pocket.

FMCA has a glass discount program for its members. I believe they use Gardian Glass. If you are not a member you may still be able to negotiate a discount.
