Sale today and I got it. Had to return the first one as it had been opened but they exchanged it.
I now need to get a different air hose, that plastic coiled thing just won't do.. I bet that plastic gets impossible to work with in the cold. I also need another quick release to fit the chuck I made using black pipe to make it long enough to get the rear duals.

I think I'll name it r2d2

Congrats on the new air compressor.

I have the plastic coiled hose for the pancake compressor I carry in the bay of our 06 Allegro and I haven't had any problems with it. Easy to store since it stays coiled up.

Get yourself some Dually Valve stems and you won't have any problems checking and airing up the pressure on your inside duals. They are solid metal and won't leak like the extenders do. Dually Valve - Main Frameset

I spotted a pvc air hose extension short length at harbor freight so I will go today and check it out.

I'll look into the dually stems after the coach arrives.. Thank you.

LOL I have been pestering everyone over at the tiffin network forum. Good group of people

Is that their 150 PSI job? That's one handy compressor.. I should know

That, along with my impact wrenches, and my 12 ton air over hydraulic jack can come in kind of handy at times.. and in fact HAS come in handy at times.

The Craftsman Compressor model being discussed here has a break in procedure that is a simple 15 minute operation with no pressure building.

You open up the drain valve at the bottom of the unit and dial the pressure knob all the way counter clockwise, put on your ear plugs and let it run for 15 minutes.

1 time process and you are good to go.

would this AC be the Sears Craftsman model # 00915309000 ? the 25LBS at 1.5 gals.???
this is the one I would like to purchase and want to be sure it will use my inpact tools

I ran it for 15 minutes for break in , although I read the manual three times and couldn't find any reference to anything close to a procedure for it. I know the other compressor manuals have it. Allows the rings to seat without a load. Can't hurt ...

I haven't tried any air tools yet.

If you're looking for a hose that won't be stiff in the cold, try looking at something called Flexzilla. I don't have one, but really wish I did. A friend has one and it seems great, meaning super flexible. I have seen it available at Napa and online. HarveyP

I also used it to run a 14gauge finish nailer, but mainly use it to get 115 -120 psi in my front tires and it does the job quickly.

I have model 919.153090 150 psi light weight works great for tires but not for air tools, not going to build anything out on the road.

Why not just go to Harbor Freight or even Home Depot and purchase a rubber hose. They are reasonably priced, with many made by Goodyear If a rubber hose kinks all you have to do is straighten it out instead of touring out to buy a new one. The plastic/PVC hoses, once kinked, have been weakened (or split). If the HF or HD hose is too long, cut it off, install new fittings with clamps and you will end up with two hoses

Bought one of these:
25 ft. x 1/4" Air Hose for Roofing and Framing Nailers
8 bucks with the 20 percent.. plus a couple of quick release.. I had a bunch of the male 1/4 inch already.
Looks good and flexible for what I will use it for.

The last goodyear rubber hose I got from harbor leaves my hands all black.....
