Cruise control and wiper motor

We have a 2002 Alpine coach. On our return trip from FL this spring, the cruise control and our wipers malfunctioned. There appears to be a broken wire on the brake master cylinder and we are wondering if this is the problem with the cruise control. In regards to the wiper motor, we need to know the manufacturer. Any help will be appreciated. Thank you.

The "broken wire" on your "brake master cylinder" could very well be the cause of your cruise control "malfunction".

Have you got a smart wheel on your coach with the controls for wipers cruise etc? If so it may be the clock spring or the controller.

If you have the smart wheel, check the fuse for it. That solved same problem for me.

I had moisture get into the wiper motor connector plug when driving in rain and the wiper motor start acting up as in I couldn't turn the wipers off. At the same time the cruise control also acted up as in that it kicked out when using turn signals. Dried out wiper motor connector, sealed it up and located connector up to a drier location solved both problems.
