Crystalline 90

Has anyone recently used 3M Crystalline 90 on their front window. Apparently it meets legal requirements and the front window is one pane so possibility of damaging to two pane gas filled doesn't exit. Have a 39' 08 DP with significant front window surface. What kind of cost am I looking at and what can I expect in reduced heat transfer . Other issues? Thanks!

I have had the last two Foretravel front wind windows tinted. Love the clear film, and the lack of heat gain in the summer here in TX when we travel, is amazing.

The last coach, with bus front windows was $450, done in our warehouse by a mobile tech. He does high end cars for 3 import dealers and gets lots of the buyers "other" cars in the weeks after the new cars go home.

Sounds like a great RV windshield film as long as no "halos" or strange reflections at night from headlights etc. The TSER (total solar energy rejected) of the Crystalline 90 is 34% according the 3M web site with a 3% reduction in glare. The visible light transmission is 86% so the bottom line is that you will get decent heat rejection (34% less total heat) for a light VLT (visible light transmission) film not to mention 99% of damaging UV rays and IR rejection which you would feel on your skin for a more comfortable drive which is always a plus.
