cummins 6.7 isb oil and fuel filters $$

i have read many posts about the extra expense for oil and fuel filter replacement for the cummins isb 6.7 as compared to gasoline engines
i have just purchased at the local Bumper to Bumper store:
Wix engine filter #57182
Wix fuel filter #33966
and a filter for the Onan 8kw # 51064
total cost including florida 7% sales tas...$28.60
did i get a good deal or what??
Walmart.. 4 gallons of Shell Rotella 15/40 was $48.83.. engine takes 15qts filter 1qt.
BTW..i was a complete stranger when i walked into that store, and i never asked for a discount. i told the sales person "i'll be back"

Add your Onan oil and your still under $100 to me is good but it is more than $29.95 some people say they can change a gasser for.

onan takes 2.5 qts
i made an error,,the cost for the 3 filters was $26.60 not $28.60
you are right, the gassers are cheaper mainly because they take less oil.
my first A mh was a Fleetwood had the GM 8.1 and i think it took 6qts plus filter..7 qts

I asked the service rep at our dealer how much an oil change would cost on our cummins engine and he replied 100 dollars plus oil and filters. I wanted an approx total and he said it depends on what filters I need and that they range significantly in price. To lazy to look it up on his computer I guess. Maybe I will do it my self. First have to find where that second fuel filter is

Re the discount...most auto parts stores will type an invoice with an outrageous retail price, then give the customer the "sale" price. Everybody gets the "sale" price....which, it seems, is the normal price.
